Women's World Cup - Top four Teams

Contents

As for my predictions the top 4 teams in the Women's World Cup are :

1.AUSTRALIA - I think they are the favourites to win the Tournament. Belinda
Clark, who owens the highest individual score in women's cricket would be the
player to watch. She scored 229 not out against Denmark in the last world cup
which held at India. In that match Australian's scored mammoty total of 412.
Karen Rolton, the vice captain of the side also a player to watch. She also
played for the Australian Men's Tournament in last month. Lisa Keightley, who
has a impressive batting average of 58.03 will also perform well in the
tournament. Aussies also has good bowling line up with players like Cathryn
Fitzpatrick, Charmaine Mason and Zoe Goss.

2. New Zealand - The Hosts of the tournament, would also looking for the
greatest title in women's cricket. New Zealand women's, I think much stronger
than their mens side. In terms of experience and support New Zealand are in a
higher postiton than other participants of the tournament. Debbie Hockley and
Skipper Emily Drumm would play the key role for New Zealand. I think we could
expect to see a Kiwi Aussie Final.

3.England - As for my opinion England will qualify for the semi finals and
also for the finals. English women's cricketers are in a good form as they
participate in lot of national leagues and other international tournaments.

4.India - Last time they lost to Aussies in the Semi Final and could expect
to see them in the Semi Finals in this time also. There main hopes would lie
on skipper Anju Jain, Anjum Chopra and Purnima Rau. There bowling is mainly
depend on spin. I think that they would have trouble with the conditions in
New Zealand.
